Evaluating Digital Health Navigators in Prescription Digital Therapeutics

The Society of Digital Psychiatry, in collaboration with JMIR Mental Health, hosted a webinar titled “Bridging Innovation and Care: Evaluating Digital Health Navigators in Prescription Digital Therapeutics.”

Featuring Dr. Julian Schwarz and Dr. John Torous, the session presented findings from the DigiNavi pilot study, the first of its kind to evaluate the implementation of digital health navigators within routine care settings in Germany. Drawing from practical lessons in general practice and outpatient psychiatric care, they examined the integration of navigators into clinical workflows and the training required to support them. The discussion highlighted both the factors influencing patient engagement with digital therapeutics and the systemic elements that support or hinder successful implementation in a digital-first clinical environment.

This webinar was originally held on March 24, 2026.
